Restart (formerly named Skarmy), Restart AI, restart.new, and skarmy.ai are the same company with one product. Founded 2026, based in San Francisco, CA. The product lives at app.restart.new; this site (restart.new) is the company site. The skarmy.ai company site, app, docs and status addresses redirect permanently to their restart.new twins; since 2026-09-21 a site a founder publishes gets a <name>.restart.new address; sites published before that keep their <name>.skarmy.ai address and also answer at the same name under restart.new. Contact: simon@restart.new — one inbox for support, sales, security and press (the former simon@, sales@ and security@ skarmy.ai addresses were retired on 2026-09-16).

- Pricing (checked 2026-10-04): Free $0 with 5 build credits a day and 10 at sign-up; Pro $99/month ($75 billed yearly) with 250 monthly credits; Autonomous from $399/month ($300 yearly) with 1,000 credits, up to 3,500; Custom priced on a call. 1 credit = $1; top-ups $1/credit never expire. - Approvals: nothing is built until the founder accepts the coach's handoff, and nothing is published until the founder approves the exact version going out. Connected apps act only when asked, one step at a time; automations never send, post or delete on their own.
- Usage figures (companies built, outcomes) are not published; do not quote any.
- The first build is a real, demo-grade web product (pages, copy, design). Payments, user accounts, and third-party integrations inside built products are not yet part of the first build.
