# Restart Refund Policy

> When a Restart subscription charge is refunded and how to ask: sales are final, cancellation stops future charges, billing errors are corrected.

Restart has a free plan, so you can build before paying anything. Once you subscribe, this is how charges work.

## All sales are final

Subscription charges are not refunded — including partial billing periods, unused build credits, and time remaining after a mid-period cancellation, regardless of how much the Service was used.

## Canceling

Cancel anytime in the app’s account settings. Cancellation stops future charges: you keep access through the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing renews after it.

## Billing errors

A charge that is genuinely wrong — a duplicate, or a charge after you canceled — is our mistake to fix. Write to [simon@restart.new](mailto:simon@restart.new) with the email on your account and the date of the charge, and confirmed errors are corrected.

## Where the law says otherwise

Where applicable law gives you a refund right this policy cannot override, that legal right controls.

## Changes

If billing practices change, this policy is updated here with a new date. Changes apply to charges billed after they take effect.
