Skarmy is now Restart

The company builder you knew as Skarmy is called Restart, and it lives at restart.new. Same team, same product, one new name.

Skarmy is now Restart. The product, the team, and everything you have built are unchanged; the name and the address are new.

What changed

  • The name. On August 29, 2026, Skarmy became Restart. The category claim stays the same: Restart is the AI company builder.
  • The domain. Since September 6, 2026, the company site is restart.new, the product is app.restart.new, the docs are docs.restart.new, and the status page is status.restart.new. The company site, app, docs and status addresses on skarmy.ai redirect permanently to their restart.new twins, and those redirects will stay in place. The site you publish keeps its own yourname.skarmy.ai address. Updated September 21, 2026: new sites now publish to yourname.restart.new. A site published before that date keeps its yourname.skarmy.ai address, and also answers at the same name under restart.new.
  • The way in. Typing an idea at restart.new/new lands straight in company creation.

What did not change

  • Your account, your companies, and your published sites. Sign in at app.restart.new with the same login.
  • The email addresses. Support was still simon@skarmy.ai, sales was sales@skarmy.ai, and security was security@skarmy.ai. Updated September 16, 2026: those three mailboxes were retired and consolidated into one. Write to simon@restart.new — support, sales, security, press and legal all land there.
  • The community: the same Discord, the same subreddit, the same people.
  • The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy, which now carry the Restart name.

Why Restart

A company builder should be named for what it does for you. Skarmy was a name; Restart is an instruction. Whatever you were doing before, this is where you begin again with the idea you actually want to build.

If you find a link, a profile, or a press mention that still says Skarmy, it is the same company. Where you see “Restart”, “Restart AI”, or “restart.new”, it is also the same company.
